Fatal Radiance - Chapter 6

Okay, there is the next chapter that gets out after 2 weeks. Recently I had a lot of interest with Fatal Radiance as it does work rather well for me right now. In any case, I do have finished this chapter pretty much a while ago and already uploaded it on SoFurry.

In any case, welcome to Scathsolas, the Underground Metropolis. A city that probably is only ever expanding as there is a lot further down and on the sides to dig. As it is evident, moles and badgers are common inhabitants as well as some other species. Crystals are used all over the city for a number of different reason as the people in Scathsolas are highly magic-affine. Heat and light is usually provided by crystals and even the ventilation uses a lot of magic to be much more efficient.

So much about the place, now to the royal family. Tighearnach is the king of Scathsolas and he and his late wife gave life to Ninniaw and Fionnbharr. Ninniaw is the one to inherit the throne and actually just as kind as his father to everyone. Fionnbharr, while being not mean at all, is however much more reserved. And he constantly wears robes to not have his white fur stand out too much. He also has a rare ability that makes it possible for him to look into other times and places, if he touches something.

Well, and then we have Vidar.... being Vidar I guess. Having him makes this chapter rather emotional and I guess that the self-loathing, while accurate to his personality, was rather difficult for me. Not so much having him cause a lot of public disturbances, which was rather fun.
But with Leofwine having gone through a lot of stressfuk experiences due to Vidar, I guess that the most appropriate approach for Vidar is to work hard and to endure this hardship. Efforts pay off however.

And meet Yishai. Someone, whose name means Gift, so... certainly not a bad theme to him. He is, well he said god-like, but essentially the only thing is that he is not worshipped by a cult. His power exceeds that of most entities that are considered gods, demons, or whatever. By so much, pray he is holding back, if he should be a superboss in a game I make someday.
