So then, this is a picture that was made several months ago, but in secret due to certain events last year. However, as recently the situation behind this changed for the better, I have now decided to share this picture as well. It depicts two characters I and TrueCynder used during an RP placed after Fatal Radiance. The same RP is also where Yamato was conceived as a character, though earlier than Solfrid. Naturally, as I took parts of the RP and made them fitting to my story, Jarik and Solfrid do exist in the Lore of Domhan as well.

In Legends of the modern times of Domhan, Jarik and Solfrid are known as legendary heroes, who once fought across the lands against all manners of vile folk. In particular bandits, but also those who would dare to use magic as a means to violate the peace and balance of the Axis region. 

Jarik in his Domhan incarnation is a hybrid between lion and boar, hence why he has a mane unlike basically any other anthro character I have except of course Vadden and Yamato. I did incorporate it in the lore however already with the beastmen at large, as they are chimeras between man and beast. And while normally two different species cannot produce offspring (except when compatible), the normal gets thrown out the window with means of supernatural means, or rather, what happens if either sperm or egg cell are manipulated by summoning forth a god or daemon? Basically, yes it is magic in its very traditional sense even.

Solfrid meanwhile is a red dragon, in particular of Scathsolan origin, but he grew up in Kärmave. His first encounter with Jarik was a bit rough, in both the RP and story based on it. But, they did find together, as Solfrid and Jarik do share a will to fight for what they deem is right. In the RP they also playfully competed every now and then, being both physically very fit.

In Yamato's story, they do appear shortly, though overall play a huge part in developments that would have lasting affects for the dragonkin of the Axis region.
