So far so good, I have now finished writing the last part of Strange Legacy. And it has been a rodeo with changing the text several times to be a bit better to read, meaning some things were cut to not overblow the readers with informations, while some things were added for later. As the start it pretty much now builds up several characters for the next few arcs, which will be dealing with other characters and their lives and role for Moirai Corporation.
So far I also went over the most part of it and only the last part needs to be checked and then I may be able to upload it. So far I managed to write 15 1/2 pages with this part, which is the longest thing I have writen so far. Eventually I could have split it into two parts, but I found that I should keep it with the original idea to have 4 chapters dedicated to Cathal, instead of making a fifth one.

So, that would mean the First Arc is almost done for and a Second will soon follow. And there is of course the question of what it is going to be. There are two characters I really want to consider for: Nathnael Silberbrach and Kolya.

Nathanael Silberbrach is of course considered, because of his general attitude and skill level. He is powerful beyond most human capability and mentality stable enough to use that power efficiently. His Arc would deal with him working for Moirai Corporation and against the organization of the Purgers in the shadows. This will get into a lot of the lore surrounding Moirai Corporation itself.
Nathanael is emotionally the most stable character, meaning that he neither is vulnerable to fear nor anger. If he is scared, it won't show on how he acts and he is most likely to overcome it, while his rage doesn't affect his cognitive abilities, making him able to control it fully. Meaning he will also act just like he always does.... while he burns of someone's flesh to the bones with pure energy.

Kolya, while not totally irrational, is quite a heartful character. He is there for his friends and will do anything for them, even if he would get hurt in the process. The feeling of loss is unbearable to him and cause for emotional outbreaks of anger, like when Laureen was nearly attacked by Cathal. At it's extremest point he can turn very dangerous and will probably not be able to hold back on lethal force. Otherwise however he appears to be very jolly and likes to have fun with the people he is surrounded with, even opening up to them very quickly.
For his Arc the plot would still give insight into Moirai, but is mainly focused on him and his relations with other characters, as well as his own role at Moirai Corporation.
Also :iconamaryllex: is currently at the point of shading a comission for me and is streaming the last steps tonight, so there will be something coming soon.

On another note, I also wonder about how people think individual names are pronounced. Hence I looked up for links to audio files that could bring light on that:

Cathal: de.forvo.com/word/cathal/

Darina: www.pronouncenames.com/pronoun…
Perfectly clear pronounced in three different variation. For her it is the French one.

Laureen: Unfortunately I can't seem to find a correct audio file for her, since her name pronounciation is more like Low-Rehn.

Vivien: www.pronouncenames.com/pronoun…
Scroll down for the French pronounciation for her. Although it is put there as male, the name is actually working for either gender.

Nathanael: www.pronouncenames.com/pronoun…
Like with Laureen no German audio, but the French pronounciation is the same actually.

Conrad: www.pronouncenames.com/search?…

Kolya: www.pronouncenames.com/search?…
Kolya is actually the Diminutive of Nikolai and writen as Коля in Cyrillic letters.

Richard: www.pronouncenames.com/search?…
The Romanian pronounciation is accurate, but the English one is also used often.

Torbjorn: www.forvo.com/word/torbj%C3%B6…

Okay, so far that's that. I will most likely upload tomorrow or on monday.

I am impressed Nathanael has mastered fear. That is the most difficult emotion. I pride myself on having mastered anger and either lock myself away until I can calm down so I don't make rash decisions or control it and channel it into more productive outlets and it does not control me. I've even had times where I'm "supposed" to get angry and I don't then I ask myself, "Should I be angry?" and if the answer is yes I have a very hard time making myself feel that way so I don't try too hard. Usually people get angry for me.

But fear? No. I have tried but it is way more powerful and primal. Has it's own section of the brain away from  other emotions and has no communication with logic.  A true fear is all gripping so that you even do physical things uncontrollably like running.  It is completely irrational.  Star Trek Voyager had a great episode where fear was personified as a character and the question was "How do you fight an emotion?"  Tuvok the Vulcan, they suppress all emotions so are very logical, even explained what I stated here so it was cool to have my theories validated.  I have asked myself the question, "If I could remove one emotion which one and why?"  Fear was the one I thought at first but then after a while I changed it to No.  Fear keeps you from doing stupid things and is a preservation tool.  Being fearless leads to reckless and also to irrationality.  If it is something like a dangerous animal it's best to channel that fear into respect.

Oh this is wonderful you also think about pronunciations of names. I have been thinking for years of doing a youtube video and pronounce all my character's names so people know what they are supposed to be like.  I really should do that one day. I do pronounce the names in my head probably close to how they should sound, I have not listened to them yet, because I tend to pronounce vowels in Spanish which is how most of the world pronounces them. I had an easy time with German vowels because of this. I don't know why English has such terrible vowel pronunciation. And French is just totally messed up with too many letters that have no sounds. Get rid of them. I was told my chickens Marans are pronounced "Maran" I should not say the "S".  That's so stupid. Sorry I will pronounce it in English because if there's an S is should  make a SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS sound.
